Went shopping @ Home Depot today (something I rarely do) and it made me think of their well-reported product placement agreement with Burnett. The multi-year agreement with Mark Burnett Productions, where presence will be built into programs such as “The Apprentice III”, “The Contender and any of his upcoming programing will be certain to benefit Home Depot. Of course … I still hate shopping there — my table and chairs were @ the top of the store and it took over 40 minutes and a couple of chicks with funky flags to negotiate it down. Hell .. I am all for safety .. but I kind of miss the days when this stuff was ordered, delivered the same day and was fully assembled.
