Ok .. I know that product placement is this huge issue … even the BBC is doing stories on it .. but nothing is a big as a massive subway strike in NYC! Especially if it is the week before XMAS! I received an early morning call from WNYC explaining that the show has to be postponed — which I understand 100% While I was in NY this weekend, I had a long conversation with my one of the cab drivers who told me that there is ‘no way they will strike’. From his perspective, the transit workers had the support of ‘the people’ .. .the minute they strike, they would lose that support. I am ‘old enough’ to remember the air traffic controllers striking and then the fallout that occurred as a result … it will interesting to see how this all plays out.
