Advance America Product Placement – Bobby Brown Style

Published on March 30, 2007 by   ·   No Comments

Product placement in today’s world of ‘new media’ is more about taking advantage of opportunities then looking for the perfect script in which to present your product. For example, Bobby Brown has been incarcerated in Canton, Massachusetts until he pays $19,000 in late child support and court fees. Yes .. this is the ‘Boys 2 Men’ and ‘Whitney Houston’ Bobby Brown. Apparently Brown has been struggling to keep up with his obligations to Kim Ward, the mother of his two teenage children. His child support agreement was put in place when he was Bobby Brown ‘the star’. ?We’re diligently working on getting those funds available from outside sources,” said Phaedra Parks, Brown’s Attorney. Advance America – where are you? Although Brown may not be a good spokesperson for a brand like Advance America and the amount is a bit large — but for $19,000, Advance America could have every press outlet in the world talking about the process of a cash advance. The press would even cover Brown’s Attorney walking into their local Advance America store to pick up the cash. CMO’s today need to be nimble and quick as these opportunities always disappear as quickly as they show up.
