Jack Nicklaus Brand – $145 Million for Minority Stake

Jack Nicklaus, winner of 18 professional major golf tournaments and considered the ‘greatest’ golfer of all time is selling a minority stake in his company for $145 million.
According to the Wall Street Journal, New York real-estate mogul Howard Milstein will expand the Nicklaus empire around the globe.
The company’s revenues are currently in the ‘hundreds of millions’ and are expected to double over several years with the addition of Milstein’s expertise in the area of real estate and brand development.
