The DIY Network is pairing up celebrities with the classic cars they’re most associated with in a car restoration series, Celebrity Rides. The premiere scheduled to air on June 24 th at 9pm will highlight Jay Leno and his famous collection of classic cars. A limited series featuring one of Jay’s Duesenberg is set to air late in the 2008 fall season.
Other celebrities expected to be featured include Burt Reynolds with the 1979 Trans Am that gained it’s notoriety from the movie Smokey and the Bandit as well as a six part series starring Kevin Dillion and featuring the building of a kit car of a 1955 Porsche Spyder.
