Ford KA Fords latest city car is all set to make an appearance in the upcoming Bond movie: Quantum of Solace, which will be released this November.
The vehicle will bring some American flavor to the British Bond film. While Daniel Craig (James Bond) will continue to drive his Aston Martin, his Bond girl (Olga Kurylenko) will be driving the savvy Ford KA. Kurylenkos KA will be outfitted with one-of-a-kind metallic gold paint, paired with unique decals and classy interior trims.
Kurylenko joins an exclusive list of celebrities that have endorsed the Ford KA, which includes Australian diva Kylie Minogue who launched the 2003 Ford Sport KA.
Movie placement is a great way to give cars exposure. For instance, the recent film Iron Man features the Audi R8 and the Audi R5. There were millions of people who sat through that movie, half of them (maybe more) couldve uttered nice car or whats that model? And that would be enough for a name recall. After all, who wouldnt want to drive a movie stars car?
Ford hopes to bring this type of exposure to the KA this November with Quantum of Solace.
