David Duchovny dropped by Johnston & Murphy

Last June, Johnston & Murphy – an upscale American shoe maker- picked David Duchovny as the leading ad endorser of the brand (For the full story, click here). But this didnt last long for the company and the X-Files leading man, as Johnston & Murphy soon pulled out Duchovny from the deal.
In a related report, Johnston & Murphy decided to pull the plug on the campaign as soon as Duchovny checked himself into sex addiction rehab.
This change squandered numerous print media advertisements including appearances in Esquire, Forbes, Fortune, Men’s Health, as well as internet promotions.
