Jerry Seinfeld Product PlacementIn 2 days (September 4th), Microsoft will launch its newest ad campaign, which is going to be pitched by none other than Mr. Jerry Seinfeld.

Microsofts choice has already caused tremendous buzz around the information super highway. Consumers, bloggers and advertisers have raised doubts whether or not the 90s TV star has enough glimmer to pull this one off?

As reported in AdWeek, critics reached similar conclusion, that picking a TV star whose fame peaked more than a decade ago seemed like a pretty backward-looking move for a supposedly forward-looking company. This takes us to the ultimate question: can Seinfeld pull this off?

The

New York native has reportedly been paid $10 million by Microsoft for his endorsement services. Whether or not this money will bring great things to Microsoft we will find out in a couple days time.
