The 7-time Tour de France winner announced yesterday that he will be back to compete in the 2009 French sports event. According to Armstrongs official website, more details and a full press conference to be held on September 24th at the Clinton Global Initiative Conference in

New York.

What does this mean for Armstrong? The champion cyclist has a chance to further assert his place in the sports history books.

What does this mean for advertisers?

His hair maybe turning grey, but his image will be a gold mine for sponsors, advertisers and the like.
