The famous series is now looking into YouTube to find its next set of myths to be busted. On September 24, the hosts will invite fans to post videos on the shows YouTube channel videos, which demonstrate new subjects for them to debunk. The Discovery Channel has promised to air selected YouTube generated ideas called Viral Myths.
As reported in Mediaweek, The Viral Myths program comes as Discovery unveils plans for nine different YouTube channels. Besides its core YouTube destination, the company plans to unveil several channels aimed at its growing international audience, including channels centered on the Latin American and German markets. In addition, next month YouTube will debut the Ink, which will cull content from the networks popular tattoo parlor-centric series Miami Ink, LA INK, and London Ink.
