MovieTickets invests in Branded Entertainment

Published on September 30, 2008 by   ·   No Comments

Movietickets.com, in conjunction with Connection III Entertainment, has agreed to sponsor Made in Hollywood, a weekly TV entertainment news magazine show. Each episode will feature exclusive celebrity interviews, behind-the-scenes coverage of the latest films, and previews of upcoming movies.  Movietickets.com, an online movie ticketing website, will be integrated to branded segments ?particularly, new theatrical releases. These integrations will be syndicated to the actual website.

Walt Borchers, svp of sales and marketing for Movietickets, says ?MoveTickets.com seeks to align ourselves with properties that are relevant and appropriate to our audience, and we’ve found that with Made In Hollywood.?  The deal favors both companies, because of the cross-promotional integration. Apart from having advertisements and syndicated segments on the Web, the actual TV show will be televised in nearly 80 million American homes.
