Warner Bros to put Yogi on the big screen

Published on October 3, 2008 by   ·   No Comments

?Is that a picnic basket??

We all remember Yogi, Boo-Boo, Ranger Smith, and Jellystone Park from the Hanna-Barbara classic cartoon ?Yogi Bear.? Well, if you like picnic baskets, then you?re in for a treat.

It has been reported that Warner Bros. is developing a feature version of the famed 70s cartoon series. Ash Brannon is slated to direct the feature (co-writer of Surf?s Up).

The project is said to be a live-action/animated hybrid. Just like Fox?s 2007 movie version of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Most of the movie will be live-action, save for picnic-basket-stealing Yogi and sidekick Boo-Boo.
