TNT branded entertainment goes for NBA outdoor games

On October 11, TNT will be making history by televising the first outdoor NBA game in the United States. The preseason promo game will feature the Phoenix Suns against the Denver Nuggets, which will be played at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, California.

Broadcasting the game will be legendary announcer Marv Albert and future Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller.

The telecast will be a great spring board promotion for the NBA?s much awaited season opener on October 26. Incidentally, TNT has also reserved excusive rights TV rights to the opening telecast. The network will be broadcasting a doubleheader on the season opener (1st: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics, 2nd: Portland Trailblazers vs. Los Angeles Lakers).
