Adidas branded entertainment goes global

Adidas? global campaign is slated for launch this week. It will be headlined by some of the most famous NBA superstars.

The campaign will feature four short Web-based films featuring Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, and Gilbert Arenas. The athletes will share their experiences, as they went on an Adidas-sponsored trip to China and parts of the US to train up and coming high school players. Ten 10-second ad spots of the films will be airing during the NBA games.

Sources have confirmed that Adidas is currently talking to NBA executives about the series? potential to be televised in NBA TV.
