Netflix and TiVo forge partnership

Two leading developers of home entertainment technology?Netflix and TiVo?have aligned interests to create a new entertainment service.
Netflix?s movie-streaming service will be combined with TiVo?s HD-compatible boxes to take television and movies to the internet. The result: a Tivo for movie and television streaming.
The partners announced that they will be putting the project in the testing stage Thursday, this week. And by December, the product will be available to the consumer. Subsriptions start at $8.99.
