HBO is extending the renowned series titled ?The Sopranos? for
another season, a season of wine that is.
?The Sopranos? wine collection now being marketed by a
partnership of HBO and Vesuvio Import Co.?an Italian wine importer from the
series.
?We feel that these quality Italian wines are the perfect
complement to all of our other carefully planned product extensions for ?The
Sopranos? brand,? commented James Costos, spokesman for HBO.
The
New Jersey
drama will be investing in Italian vineyards. The mobster wines will start
selling at $12 a bottle. The varieties include Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio, and
Pinot Noir.
Prior to this product, HBO had already extended the series
to the market. Sopranos has branded gaming slot machines, CAO cigars, and cook
books.
