After raising around $80 million last February, the Adconion Media Group is finally investing this revenue in form of branded content. Today, the company announced its acquisition of KTV Digital Media to boost content and distribution capacities of its ?global audience network.?

KTV Digital will be integrated with a new subsidiary of Adconion named ?RedLever?, which is solely focused on video development and distribution.

According to Contentinople, ?Adconion’s value proposition to advertisers is that it partners with a number of content aggregators, giving the company wide enough reach to place their brand messages — mostly sponsored videos or what’s called ?branded entertainment? — in as many places as possible. With the ability to reach 260 uniques, the company says it could guarantee audiences for the brand advertisers it worked with.?

This acquisition gives Adconion the ability to produce content for brands, advertisers, and agencies, which can be released by through the company?s numerous content distribution partners.

?We’re experts in the business of creating content and branded entertainment,? asserts Reeve Collins, CEO of RedLever. ?We develop a show and advertise around a brand or a show. We produce it and then utilize Adconion for the distribution of it.?
