TBS will be working with Microsoft and Kia Motors America to produce an upcoming Comedy Festival. Both companies are listed as bona-fide sponsors.
As first-time sponsors, Microsoft and Kia will sponsor three prime-time comedy specials each, in a series of on-air promotions that comes with tagged tune-ins and exclusive billboard placements.
Microsoft will have an extended participation in the deal. The software developer will be present in the venue of the Comedy Festival: Caesar?s Palace, Las Vegas. The brand will also have placements in the TBS.com microsite.
Returning sponsors Geico & Mars and Twix will have three prime-time and three late-night comedy specials each on TBS. Plus, Twix will join Microsoft to the microsite?s sponsorship list.
?All four of our partners believe in the power of comedy and the valuable platform the Comedy Festival represents in communicating their unique brand messages,? commented Katherine Johnson, senior VP of Turner Entertainment promotions and marketing. ?Across on-site, online and on-air, we are presenting four very different promotions that offer each advertiser a meaningful way to be part of this year?s high-profile events.?
The Comedy Festival boasts an extensive list of stand-up comics, including Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Joan Rivers, Dave Attell, Jim Norton, and Tracy Morgan.
