EF Educational Tours has partnered with Real World production company Bunim/Murray to shoot ten episodes that chronicle the travel life of six teenager members of Facebook.
The series titled ?Life on Tour? will be hosted on Facebook, where viewers and visitors can chat and befriend the characters featured on the show. It attempts to make use of technology, which teens are familiar with to boost EF?s campaign on direct mail and paid search.
All the episodes amount to 50 minutes of content, which will be released in 5-minute intervals. The first two episodes debuted last week, and one episode will be released per week until 18 December.
The episodes will take viewers to Lucerne, Paris, Florence, and Rome. The Facebook page will allow teens to be in-touch with the characters as they travel. Viewers will also be updated on the travelers? status.
