Published on November 26, 2008 by   ·   No Comments

In a recent statement, Google said it is instituting a new search technology for Google TV Ads?this lets advertisers make their ad spots more targeted and precise.

Google TV Ads, as described by TVweek?s Daisy Whitney, ?is the search giant?s foray into the TV advertising business that lets marketers buy TV spots in the Google system based on the same auction technology that has made Google?s search advertising business so popular.?

The upgrade lets advertisers search for programs to sponsor using a keyword. Previously, the Google platform was limited to matching keywords with program titles, descriptions, cast, and genre.

This new platform lets search technology return TV programs with more relevant concepts.
