The Hyundai Genesis gets Leverage from TNT

Hyundai has signed a deal with TNT to create a new original show titled ?Leverage.? Throughout the 13-week run, the Hyundai Genesis will be integrated in the plot of some episodes.

The show is classified under adventure. It stars Timothy Hutton as Nate Ford?a modern day Robin Hood who fights for the underdogs. The opening episode will be presented by Hyundai commercial free.

In the attached show promotional game titled ?Get Ready to Get Even,? viewers are asked to solve a mystery and find $100,000 stashed in a Hyundai Genesis Trunk. Each week, contestants are encouraged to check Leverage HQ to find updates and unlock new clues. To help contestants, TNT will broadcast clues in some TV episodes of the show.

As explained Katherine Johnson of Turner Entertainment Promotions and Marketing, ?They?ll go to the Leverage headquarters [Web site] where they’ll learn about the assignment and the characters’ special skills. It’s all about engaging people with the show and the characters.?

The Hyundai Genesis will be featured on at least 5 episodes?highlighting its high-tech gadgetry. Apart from Hyundai, other brands that will appear on the show include Hewlett-Packard and DirecTV.
