Univision Online and Endemol are teaming up with Amistad Productions to create ?Vidas Cruzadas??a new interactive webnovela slated for release in 2009.

?Vidas Cruzadas? (Crossed Lives) is a 15-episode web series that stars the famous on-screen duo of Kate del Castillo and Guy Ecker. Each 3-5 minute episode will be streamed for free at Univision?s microsite. The site will also feature behind-the-scenes footage, along with photos, blogs, chat features, polls, ad support, and promotional sweepstakes.

The web series will also have a mobile advertising campaign that will offer brands and advertisers opportunities for product placement and organic integration.

?We are thrilled to partner with first-class content producer Endemol and superstars Kate del Castillo and Guy Ecker to bring Univision.com users a one-of-a-kind interactive webnovela experience,? commented Cesar Conde, VP and chief strategy officer at Univision Communications. ?This project is yet another example of Univision?s commitment to providing our online users with original, premium content which creates innovative ways for our advertising partners to connect with this audience.?
