Warner Bros. is making its way to the holidays with a new romantic comedy with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon in ?Four Christmases.? The comedic sequences also allow for a host of wonderfully integrated product placements.
The plot is simple. Brad (Vaughn) and Kate (Witherspoon) plan a holiday getaway to Fiji to escape having to spend Christmas with their families this year. But when their flight is cancelled and they appear on TV through a CBS interview, all their plans are foiled. They now have to spend Christmases with four separate families, who are all scattered in the San Francisco Bay Area.
There are a host of product placements in the show. Stanford-educated Brad tries to hold his own against his Budweiser-drinking brothers, who test their UFC skills on Brad. On the other hand, Kate attempts to bridge her aversion to childbirth, while undergoing an e.p.t. Pregnancy Test. The couple visited their families using a Black Range Rover and they even played Taboo.
Other product placements include: Apple, Blackberry, Doritos, HP, Rockem Sockem Robots, Saks Fifth Ave., Transformers, Xbox, and YouTube.
