Matmi New Media Designs recognized for accomplishments in branded entertainment

Jeff Coghlan?founder of Matmi New Media Designs?has received recognition for excelling in the field of advergaming.  

Advergaming is a variety of branded entertainment. It combines an animated challenge with a marketing campaign for a product or a service. Matmi is a Miami-based company that specializes in this type of advertising. The company has big name clients, including Asda, Lloyds TSB, and Sony.

?TV advertising is struggling, and internet advertising has overtaken traditional advertising for the first time this year,? said Coghlan in a related interview. ?Advergaming is about engaging in a pleasurable experience with a brand. We are pretty much the biggest branded entertainment company to work with the recording industry at the moment, and we are expanding rapidly, despite the current climate, and looking to take on more programmers.?

Matmi?s latest project was the EMI website of artist Lily Allen. It features a mini-based character on the singer to promote her upcoming album.
