At the transition to 2009, TV network giant TNT is takes on one of the most ambitious drama-development projects in the industry.
Last November, TNT exec Michael Wright said that the network will wait until 2009 to develop one or more series from a host of pilots from renowned producers. According to sources close to the deal, the network is leaning towards ?Men of a Certain Age??a series produced by famous comedian Ray Romano.
?The Line,? which is a cop drama produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, is also being considered to get air time. This series is helmed by ?The Practice? star Dylan McDermott. Jada Pinkett Smith?s ?Time Heals??a medical drama?is yet another option for TNT.
TNT spokespersons say that the announcement of the network?s selection is pending.
