FYI Branded Entertainment

Published on January 7, 2009 by   ·   No Comments

Renowned online media studio For Your Imagination (FYI) launched two new networks at the entry of 2009: GEQ and Glampede. The first network centers on finance, while the second tackles the world of fashion. According to company CEO Paul Kontonis, the sponsorships for the networks have led to a boost in revenues, but the majority share of the profits still come from branded entertainment.

?Until the media side really gets its act together and understands how to buy sponsorships in online video, you’re going to see a lot more on the branded side because that’s starting from the creative groups that are much more willing to jump into the space, play with those experimental dollars,? maintains Kontonis.

FYI has made a strong impression on online advertisers, because it offers entertainment and informational content. In addition to that, the media company gives the client state-of-the-art tools to target specific audience demographics. Kontonis describes FYI?s approach as a ?four-tier distribution strategy? that gives clients what they need to succeed in online advertising.
