Jack Bauer battles terrorism in a Hyundai

Published on January 27, 2009 by   ·   No Comments

Jack Bauer (from FOX?s hit TV series ?24?) will now pursue his enemies while driving a Hyundai.

The Korean auto manufacturer recently snatched the branded entertainment opportunity, as previous sponsor Ford has chosen to take a smaller role in the series.

A company spokesperson recently confirmed its product-integration sponsorship with the renowned series. ?We?re delighted with the exposure we have received from one of the top-rated shows on TV,? the spokesman said. ?It?s a great way to open eyes to our terrific products.?

Ford and Hyundai will now share the spotlight on 24 with government agents still driving Fords. But Bauer will be cruising in a Hyundai. While the Expedition and the Ford Escape are expected to make up the product placements for Ford, there is still no official word as to what model Hyundai will gala.

According to Nielsen IAG research, Hyundai?s integration with this show will be twice as effective as brand messaging on any other primetime show. 24 records one of the highest consumer recall rates for product placements in primetime.
