History Launches First Web Original

Published on February 25, 2009 by   ·   No Comments

History has announced plans to produce its first Web series titled ?Great and Telling Tales with Timothy Dickinson.?

The 12-episode series will be featured on History.com hosted by the renowned historian Timothy Dickenson. Some episode titles have already been released. A couple of examples are ?Great Moon Hoax? and ?Jimmy Carter vs. The Killer Rabbit.? The stories are molded after Dickenson?s taste of strange, one-of-a-kind, compelling topics.

The episodes will use animation to bring to life bizarre tales and characters.

?The addition of this original broadband series not only illustrates our mission to expand the History brand across all multimedia platforms, but emphasizes that at the heart of history is great storytelling,? concluded Nancy Dubuc, executive VP and GM at History.
