Hawaiian Springs Product Placement

Published on March 6, 2009 by   ·   No Comments

Hawaiian Springs, the bottled water product, is redesigning its packaging with a more edgy logo design. The new design will be supported by an extensive campaign, including product placements deals.

Company chairman Rick Hadley believes that ?world-class packaging? will make Hawaiian Springs more competitive with top brands, like Evian and Aquafinas.

The new bottles will be molded from polyethylene terephthalate, which comes from Pacific Allied Products in Kapolei. They will replace the traditional design, whose inventory is almost finished.

?As soon as we saw the new bottle, we were all for it, because the old bottle did not capture your attention,? said Jodi Minamishin from Foodland, a distributor of Hawaiian Springs. ?The color of the bottle makes it look like it?s a glass bottle, and it just looks much more appealing, especially with the flowers.?

?They [new bottle designs] kind of pop off the shelves, which is what we wanted,? Hadley said. ?A world-class water deserves world-class packaging.?

Hadley is now working with Legacy Entertainment for possible product placements with celebrities, movies, and television. There are also talks about possible placements in cultural and athletic events, as well as producing branded gear.
