Looking to capitalize on its sales on its Web platforms, Univision is employing a service that allows banner ad placements online. Clients need not more than a credit card number to get their ad posted.
Advertisers can visit a site where they can select from a library of Spanish creative that is appropriate for their business. They will be allowed to customize the template by adding contact information, alternating texts, and changing colors.
After that, the advertisers need to select a banner size and enter a daily budget to place the media buy. They can target geo-ads to run in certain DMAs and they can even track the progress of the ads with occasional reports from the service provider.
The ads may be placed in Univision.com or any other Univision-affiliated site.
The new offering will ?accelerate Univision’s ability to bring new advertisers online and serve them more efficiently,? said Kevin Conroy, head of interactive business, Univision.
