ABC?s conglomerate of radio stations will launch a new digital channel?the Live Well HD Network. The channel will feature original productions from the stations and will be ad-supported by major markets. Representatives claim that product placement will be an avenue for profit for the new channel.

The network said that potential advertisers for the network have displayed a positive response. General Mills and AT&T will be on hand for the launch.

Product placement will be a part of the channel?s revenue plan.

According to Bill Burton, who will run the channel, says that the new network will give advertisers a great opportunity to market their products. ?There’s only so much we can do with advertisers in our traditional news,? said Burton.
