Nokia partners with Star Trek

Published on April 29, 2009 by   ·   No Comments

The Nokia 5800 is releasing a Star Trek limited edition model, which hits mobile stores on Labor Day in the United Kingdom (UK).

This is a great move from Nokia. It is widely known that the mobile electronics brand has had its fair share of buys in terms of product placement. On this case, the N5800 is a good fit. The model has a huge consumer base and excellent new-tech features at a relatively low cost.

When you combine the appeal of the model and the appeal of the film, you have access to an even wider market. However, the limited edition model is exclusive to ?Phones4U? in UK and it comes free with the ?25 monthly plan.

With this hook-up, Nokia goes where no phone has gone before.
