Ford is using the American Idol?s final episode to attract consumers to the company?s newest model: the Ford Fusion or Fusion Hybrid.

?Ford Rocks the Cinema? will give away tickets to watch the finale episode of American idol in theaters across 10 cities in exchange for test-driving the Ford Fusion. The company will be giving the tickets on selected events between May 7, 10, 14, and 17.

Those who participate in the promo will also get a chance to win a limited-edition Ford Fusion and an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to watch the American Idol finale.

Tickets to the cinema showing will be given by Ford in a first come, first serve basis. When capacity is reached the auto manufacturer will hand out gift certificates for each test drive.

Ford is working with House Party, an agency that fixes events, to organize 1,000 private parties at the night of the finale.

Ford has been a longtime sponsor of Fox?s American Idol and this new campaign will further strengthen its relationship with the show.
