While efforts to boost Tropicana sales backfired on Pepsi Co. in the first quarter, one of the company?s products remains to post sales gains: Mountain Dew or Mtn Dew. And one of the soda?s secret ingredients is branded entertainment.
In the past years, Mtn Dew has invested heavily in branding subcultures, like sports, indie music, and video games. Some of the productions include the Dew Tour, Green Label Sound, and Game Fuel.
