Ford partners with Myxer to launch branded mobile content

Myxer, an online site that houses ad-supported mobile content, recently launched Ford?s mobile campaign for the 2010 Mustang.

According to a company press release, the multifaceted Ford campaign on Myxer includes:
?    Showcases of Ford branded content and best user-generated content in custom-designed storefront (available on the Web and the mobile web).
?    Complete ad placement ownership within the delivery of content to users? phones
?    Sponsorship of Myxer?s Cars wallpaper category

?We are delighted that Ford has chosen Myxer as the mobile centerpiece of their exciting 2010 Mustang launch,? claimed Myk Willis, CEO of Myxer.

He continued, ?Ford is leveraging both our leading technology platform and our 22 million member community on the web and mobile web to extend their brand to mobile devices in a very engaging and personalized manner.
