Scott Donaton to lead Interpublics branded entertainment unit

Interpublic has revamped and re-branded its branded entertainment operations, and the company has contracted a renowned industry to manage it.

Scott Donaton, a former publisher of Entertainment Weekly and Advertising Age, will be leading Ensemble, the new name of Interpublic Mediabrands? branded entertainment division. Donaton will become the president, CEO, and full-time associate.

Ensemble will work in partnership with Media Link LLC, advertising and media industry consulting firm which is helmed by Michael Kassan.

The company says Donaton will work with Mediabrands agencies and its clients to ?bridge the gap between marketers and the entertainment industry.?

Interpublic and Donaton will work with existing entertainment teams to bring first opportunities to company clients.
