Former U.S. Ambassador Joins FameCast

An acknowledged and respected former U.S. diplomat joined the advisory board of FameCast, the U.S.-based leader in developing branded entertainment and digital marketing experiences.

Antonio O. Garza, the former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, is respected for his work in strengthening U.S.-Mexico bilateral relations. Garza, with a distinguished 20-year career in public service, is known and trusted by CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs and public officials on both sides of the border and across Latin America.

Garza is a partner with ViaNovo, a leading management and communications consultancy, and serves as chairman of ViaNovo Ventures, the firm’s new business development arm. He also recently accepted a Counsel position to White & Case, a leading global law firm.

Garza’s keen insight, political skill and business acumen will be invaluable as FameCast looks to build on its recent success in Latin America.

"Social media and Internet-enabled entertainment serves an important role in enriching people’s lives. The FameCast platform is truly borderless, creating access and opportunities for businesses and consumer alike," said Garza.

Recently FameCast has expanded their reach to include international markets through a joint partnership with OCESA, Latin America’s largest producer of music, sports and entertainment events. Together they created Amplifica, an online venue to identify rising Latino music stars that taps into that region’s vibrant music scene and enormous, loyal fan base.

"Tony is an insightful strategist who knows how to deliver results," said Famecast CEO Kent Savage. "He’s been instrumental in FameCast’s expansion into Latin America and will play an important role in advising our organization as we work to become the premiere Latin American digital media and entertainment platform."

FameCast has created successful experiences for the Samsung at&t Summer Krush Tour, 2009 Van Warped Tour, Guitar Centers’ On-Stage competition with M?tley Cr?e, John Mayer’s Mayercraft and Fender Guitars’ Road Worn? competition. Not limited to music, they also power the JOE’s Next Model competition for JOE’s JEANS and an online tribute contest in conjunction with the DVD release of Notorious from Fox Home Entertainment. Western Union and PacSun have recently signed on with programs to be announced soon.
