The next episode of Bones, which will air in December, will have several Avatar product placements. There is already a promotional clip airing on YouTube.
The television product placement has been arranged by Fox and 20th Century Fox. Avatar is an expensive product and needs to be accompanied by extensive marketing campaigns.
The trailers have already sprung criticisms regarding its blunt product placements. Come December, its impact on consumers will be weighed and measured.
