The iPad gets a product placement in the Grammys

Published on February 3, 2010 by   ·   No Comments

Musicians were not the only ones who got special mentions during the Grammys, also products. Case and point: the iPad.

The new tablet computer is already sweeping the nation, even before its release date. The new Apple invention is getting plenty of exposure. Grammy host Stephen Colbert even mentioned the product casually while he was on stage.

As Colbert was about to announce the nominees, he fumbled around searching for the envelope. Then he opened his coat and pulled out an iPad, which proved to be funny for the audience. Colbert even managed to demonstrate how smooth the auto-rotate function was as the crowd laughed and applauded.

Colbert even joked, ?Jay-Z did you not get one of these [iPad] in your gift bag??
