Morgan Grimes?the sidekick?describes Chuck as a die hard DC comics fan. Chuck always updates himself with the latest issues of the Justice League.
The product placement comes at an opportune time as JLA is in need of a media boost. Critics claim that the series has hit a creative drought, and it looks as if DC no longer knows where the JLA story is heading.
DC is even considering relaunching the series with younger super heroes.
DC Comics is owned Warner Brothers, which is also the producer of Chuck. That?s why you can expect more DC product placements in the series.
