Jamie Oliver bashes Kraft Lunchables in Food Revolution

Jamie Oliver?s Food Revolution became a revolution against Kraft last Friday.

The British chef held a tray of Kraft Lunchables and boldly said, ?I hate these things.? Oliver continued: ?Look at the amount of ingredients for that small offering. If you want to give your kids a good nutritious lunch, you don?t give them Lunchables.?

The scene took place at Huntington W.V. elementary school when Oliver found out that parents are trading fresh and nutritious school food for food products like Kraft Lunchables.

The chef made his way through the children?s lunchboxes, where he found many ?offending? foods.
As of press time, Kraft has yet to react to the negative press they got from Oliver?s show. The Lunchables logo was blurred out, but anyone familiar with the product would be able to determine that it is indeed the Kraft product.

The episode highlighted the vulnerability of food companies when their products are made from artificial ingredients.

There are some companies that opted to arrange for product placements on Oliver?s show?A move that could protect them from such harsh commentaries in the long run. Some of these companies include: General Mills, Unilever, and Snapple.

General Mills, for one, has already reaped the benefits of the product placement. Oliver describes these products as great for cooking, and General Mills product placements are all over the place.
