Blip.tv is partnering with 7-Eleven to create a branded entertainment web series titled ?7-Eleven Road Trip Rally,? which follows two teams as they race across the country to Indianapolis Motor Speedway while buying food and supplies at 7-Eleven convenience stores.
The show will air from May 10 through May 28, and will be distributed by Blip. Viewers can also watch the show on 711Roadtrip.com, and on various Blip distribution networks.
7-Eleven?s partners will also market the show in their own websites. These partners include Dr. Pepper, Planter?s, Nabisco, Oscar Mayer, and Nestl? Pure Life. Blip, on the other hand, will use ads to promote the show.
Happy Little Guillotine (HLG) will produce and edit the episodes. According to sources, HLG has already worked with Blip on other brands?Samsung and Chili?s.
