Sex and the City 2: a product placement vignette!

The first Sex and the City movie racked in over 90 brand appearances. Could its sequel?which is said to be bigger and better?top the product placements in the first film?

Without the movie being released yet, there are already several confirmed brand appearances in the movie. Brands like Mercedes, Dior, Manolo Blahnik, and Louboutin are among the confirmed brands in the movie. Not to mention, Carrie Bradshaw has replaced her trusty Apple Mac for an HP.

Considering the advertising success of the first film, you can expect more brands to appear in the sequel. Every aspect of Carrie?s life can be monetized through advertisements. And she?s proven her effect. Case and point: Manolo Blahnik.
