Ofcom, the media watchdog, are proposing product placement regulations on British TV programs.
Broadcasters are required to inform UK viewers before showing paid product placements on air.
Alcohol, tobacco, and junk food are still prohibited product placements.
There will also be selected shows that can use product placement, and children?s programs cannot do so.
Ofcom says that the proposals are designed to allow commercial broadcasters to access new revenue streams, while protecting audiences.
