Lady Gaga led the way.

Now, product placements are solidifying their presence in music videos. Music videos are no longer used just to promote album releases; they are used to promote brands.

For artists like Lady Gaga, who have a massive following, product placement presents great opportunities.

In-video product placements tallied $15-$20 million last year worth of revenue, according to PQ Media.

These days, viewers want fast information. They skip through traditional ads, making messages harder to deliver. That?s why advertisers are putting the ads within video content to ensure exposure.

The ongoing trend meets the financial needs of artists. Since music videos could always use additional funding, product placement presents solutions for both parties.
