Nokia gets product placement in 2010 World Cup

Soccer players were not the only ones scoring during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Nokia also scored big in terms of product placement.

According to reports, the Finnish phone maker tapped Larissa Riquelme?a Paraguayan model?to put the Nokia E71 in her cleavage. The product placement took attention out of the soccer field as eyes were glued to her in the stands.

Riquelme is a renowned poster girl for brands. She even had an Axe logo painted on her left breast during the match between Spain and Paraguay.

While speculation says that this was a paid Nokia product placement, there have been no confirmations from the brand.
