In an effort to extend its reach in the market, Ford has launched a new multi-channel marketing campaign, which includes a product placement in the popular CW television series, Vampire Diaries.
The centerpiece of the campaign is the 2011 Ford Fiesta, one the brand?s entry level vehicles. Its appearance on the second season of Vampire Diaries will take place later this year. But, the Detroit-based auto manufacturer has already begun promoting its appearance.
Ford is also marketing the model online through social networks and e-mails. The company is holding an essay-writing contest about the Fiesta for its fans. Ford will be giving away one of its cars to a lucky participant during the premier of Vampire Diaries.
