Philips, the consumer electronics company, has entered into the realm of branded entertainment with a brand new web comedy series that features some of its latest products.

?Nigel and Victoria? is described as a boy-meets-girl story that follows a Philips marketing manager who tries to get the attention of a sassy product reviewer, who appears in the company?s commercials.

New episodes are released weekly though a branded YouTube channel and the Philips home page.

The online series is a canvas for Philips? latest products, including several iPad accessories.

German online company, prodco Wenneker TV, partnered with Hoot, a UK comedy company, to produce the series.
