The new show for 5 ? 11 year olds is supported by a ?Mission Green Santa? e-learning based website, made-over with new sticky content by digital engagement specialists, Matmi.
The site – including Santa?s runway, the Elf Village, games, videos, quiz questions, e-cards and more – delivers a green message to its junior audience in a fun, light-hearted and interactive way.? By being greener, kids can save Green Santa?s runway from melting so that he?s ready to take off and deliver all their presents on Christmas Eve!
Martin Offland, Director at Chief Productions, explains that when learning is fun, it doesn?t feel like ?learning? at all:? ?There?s a huge amount of eco-friendly information embedded in the Green Santa website, which kids will simply absorb as they explore the Elf Village and have fun online.? At this age, children don?t make the distinction between TV and online so we?ve had quite a challenge to merge and present content consistently in the TV show and on the new website.
