Avril Lavigne tries product placement
Published on January 27, 2011 by David Castillo · No Comments
Avril Lavigne’s newest music video “What the hell” features numerous product placements, which goes against her counter-culture image.
For starters, her boyfriend in the video wears a Marc Jacobs t-shirt. All throughout the video, Sony products appear in prominent places.
The young artist even featured her own product on the video, Forbidden Rose—a perfume by Avril Lavigne. She also sported her Abbey Dawn couture line.
In a strange occurrence, a Ford logo was removed from a taxi cab in the video.
